Which Fruit Can Decrease Arthritis Pain?

That fruit is cherries!  Researchers at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center found that arthritic patients that drank two 8-ounce glasses of tart cherry juice daily had improvement in pain, stiffness and physical function after 6 week.  An interesting side note is that other researchers at Boston University Medical Center found that patients that suffered from gouty arthritis could decrease the chance of an attack by eating at least 10 cherries a day.  The information for this post comes from ARTHRITIS TODAY July/August 2012
